Nathan Hale / Architectural Designer
Nathan is an architectural designer with a passion for creativity and a keen eye for detail. At B+A, he focuses on developing feasibility studies and conceptual designs for various projects. He holds a Five-Year First Professional Master of Architecture degree from Drury University, Hammons School of Architecture (HSA) and has gained valuable experience through internships and coursework.
During his time at Drury, Nathan focused his studies on educational institutions and healthcare service projects. As a student, he completed several internships that allowed him to gain hands-on experience in the field. His coursework and practical experience have provided him with a strong foundation in architectural design principles, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with clients to develop effective solutions.
Nathan's three-month study abroad program in Greece left an indelible mark on him. During this time, he visited every architectural site of significance within the entire country, observing firsthand how the ancient Greeks used architecture to shape their society. This experience has influenced his approach to design and has made him passionate about the power of architecture to impact people's lives.
Nathan's internship experiences have also played a significant role in shaping his career. He worked as an intern for three months in Chicago and two months in Hangzhou, China, which exposed him to a wide range of architectural styles and approaches. His experience and knowledge of global design trends enable him to bring fresh and innovative ideas to every project he works on.
What sets Nathan apart is his determination and drive to excel in his career. Despite facing medical challenges that would have deterred many, Nathan remained focused on his goals and worked tirelessly to complete his master's degree. His resilience and tenacity have been an inspiration to his peers and colleagues alike, and we are proud to have him as a member of our team at B+A.
In his spare time, Nathan enjoys reading about philosophy and psychology, painting with acrylic and watercolors, and even doing some woodworking when the mood strikes him. His hobbies demonstrate his innate creativity and desire to create something beautiful and meaningful.
